The location of the b&b is absolutely amazing. We saw a seal from our bedroom window! Clifden is only a 10min drive so you're still close to shops and restaurants, but nature is right on your doorstep. We were received warmly by the host, Lydie, who gave us information about the area and showed us the room. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, there were home made jams, almond coconut paste, chocolate paste and caramel. So tasty. Also a selection of fresh fruit and of course pancakes or full Irish. All in all we had a great time and loved our stay!

Lorna gave us clear instructions beforehand on how to get inside the apartment and was very friendly. The place itself was super clean and comfortable! The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend to stay here!

We had a lovely stay at castlehouse b&b ! The authenticity of the place is refreshing as well as the kindness of the host, John, who gave us many helpful advice on local places. This is a little gem of a property. The host Richard is a charming man, who wants you to enjoy his house. He serves beautiful homemade jams, made from fruits from his garden, with homemade brown bread. The house is full of character, and a 10-minute walk from the town centre. Recommend taking the back road.

The pictures don't do it justice! Rooms all en-suite, large kitchen, and fabulous sunny garden with bbq and outdoor eating area. Location was perfect - in core of Roundstone village, lots of parking, close to pubs, shops and harbour. Also, playground across the road for children. It was the perfect base for a family group to explore Connemara. Great to be able to walk to great pubs in the evening!
