Wow, AMAZING! Very peaceful and relaxing. Lisa (host) really made us feel at home, with her kind and warm nature, not forgetting her tasty home cooked meals. Lisa was very helpful, booking taxis and our own river cruise of the back waters. Highly recommend if it’s Peace and Quiet you are looking for. Will definitely return one day.

The helpfulness of the family when we arrived in the thunderstorm was quite a special moment to say the least . We couldn't make it out as the weather was so bad . They made us some food of their own. This was an amazing meal, we had had to take the recipe back with us ! The location is so close to the beach (5 min walk) and their garden was spectacular! Only wish we could achieve this in the uk . The room was exceptionally clean upon arrival with great facilities. We have had two weeks in kerala, this was the best home stay by far .

Well situated half between the beach and the city center, Johnson homestay is a great family house with a nice garden. The rooms are clean and well furnished. Johnson is very welcoming and very committed to his guests. I particularly appreciated his advices for the ferries in the backwaters and I had a memorable experience. Even if I didn’t have the time to do his tour on village canoe cruise, the guests who did it were really satisfied. Wonderful stay !
