Very, very nice and friendly owners. No problem with late check-in. Room was clean and nice. Well equipped kitchen. Price was quite high, but I guess it is about the region, cause it is standard there.

This guest house is 20 km from Vík and 1.5 km off the Route 1 Ring Road. Wi-Fi and parking are free. All rooms have a view of Pétursey Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean.

The guesthouse undersells itself and has some added facilities. There was a guest fridge and microwave 😍. There is an on site restaurant that you can have dinner at however I was unable to find any menu or opening hours online. They do cook a mean fish and chips. The bed was the most comfortable I've had in Iceland. The scenery was stunning

It is located in the quite place near Vìk, but closed to the attractions and the city. Public pool and the big supermarket in Vík is also near by. We could see the nice view through the room window. There in clean and cozy common area where we enjoyed our own food. Room and shared bathroom are very clean.

Great self-contained unit not far from the town of Vik and the black sand beach. Private bathroom, well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. This owner was kind enough to refund us 1 night of accommodation when a red road alert stopped us from reaching the accommodation in time. We really enjoyed the one night we did have to stay here.

Gudrun our host greeted us on arrival and recommended what to do and see in the area. We had a lovely 2 night stay and especially enjoyed the homemade waffles for breakfast. Location was excellent.
