From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality by Antonio and Claudio – two hosts who truly know how to make their guests feel at home and cared for. 🏡 The accommodation is fantastic – tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and filled with an atmosphere of peace and beauty. The rooms are comfortable, the beds are cozy, and the view from the terrace is absolutely magical. Waking up to the sound of the sea and enjoying morning coffee in the sun was a highlight every day. 🍽️ Breakfast was something we looked forward to each morning – fresh local ingredients, homemade treats, and always served with a smile. Antonio and Claudio took the time to talk with us, share local tips, and show their passion for the place. 🌿 The garden and surroundings are like a dream – lush, tranquil, and just steps from the beach. It’s a place where you can truly relax and enjoy life. 💬 Antonio and Claudio are the heart of Villa Dei Principi. Their warmth, care, and professionalism make all the difference. We stayed here for a week and it was absolutely wonderful! There are two suites next to one another. Ours was called Suite Positano (the one without the elevated jacuzzi) with total privacy. The view was truly amazing — the tiered homes were so close it felt like we could touch them; the beach and the ocean were in full view too. We didn’t even need to rent beach chairs because our balcony was better with privacy. The view from the shower was stunning! The two staff were sooo accommodating and friendly, every morning they prepared us a breakfast feast! Fabio is who we communicated with on Whatsapp for anything. Anything we needed, they arranged for us. He even arranged a transfer for us from Naples airport to the villa for $170 with a stop at Pompeii (without the Pompeii stop it would’ve been €140). This transfer was literally half the price of what Viator quoted. But it doesn’t include porter service which is honestly necessary as there are a lot of steps involved (€15 per suitcase). Location is close to everything! there’s a very nice mini market just below the steps, the beach and the boat terminal is about a 3-4 min walk, tons of restaurants less than a five minute was including Chez Black and Covo dei Saraceni. We were in for a treat when Napoli won the championship and fireworks were going off all night and the firework spectacle was so close to us and all around our balcony! I did so much research looking for the best property with a view and for the best price point. Out of curiosity, when we arrived in Positano, we went to visit hotels we had considered like Hotel Poseidon and Le Sirenuse. A lot of these luxury hotels are rather far from the centre and they are located on the main road of Positano (there’s only one road in this town) — making it’s dangerous to walk anywhere from the hotels, they aren’t overtly close to the beach or boat terminal, and I question if one can truly survive the fumes from the hoards of tour buses.

Villa Viara was the most beautiful accommodation, located about a 15/20 minute walk via the pedestrian steps to the main street. The hotel and then room itself were spotless and the decor was absolutely gorgeous, along with the most amazing views from the balcony. There were a number of lovely restaurants located nearby and it was extremely quiet at night as it was located away from the hustle and bustle of the main part of Positano but still within walking distance. Imara, the owner, and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we received two lovely glasses of Prosecco from Imara upon arrival for my friend’s birthday, which was such a lovely touch. Imara also provided us with a list of restaurant recommendations, and the two places that we tried were delicious - Saraceno D’oro and Da Vincenzo. The breakfast was amazing, a platter full of fresh pastries, bread, yoghurts and fruit which was delivered to the room at the time chosen by us the evening before. We had the most amazing time in Positano and this was highly attributable to our stay in Villa Yiara, would highly recommend staying here!

All was wonderfull - the room was over our espectations, 5 stars style, spacious room, bathroom, nice balcony with a view, we would like to come back! You can choose 1 day in advance your next breakfast, the air conditioner works great, refrigerator with minibar, coffe marker with complementary coffe capsules and tea, supernice bad, really all at 10 from 10!

The room and terrace are very nice and charming. Everything you need is available including some cooking facilities, and the fridge is stocked with some lighter food, juice and water.

    * The staff were cheerful, polite, and extremely helpful with everything from arranging a private driver for us to giving us directions to dropping our postcards in the postbox * The view from our room was spectacular * The location of the hotel is perfect for those who prefer the more quiet side of Positano, but you still get all of the beautiful views and an even closer, more direct access to the quieter Fornillo Beach. We were able to easily walk around Positano by foot * The breakfast view was top notch

    The property was excellent. Best place to stay in Positano. Great location, great view, room was huge. Staff Katia went above and beyond expectations. Breakfast served every morning on our balcony was exceptional. Property was easy to get too. If you have a private driver taking you there they drop you off right at the door. Minimal steps if you want to avoid steps. It’s only a 10min walk down the main road to the city centre or the beach. There are lots of restaurants near by too.
