Beautiful location 10 minutes drive from Terranova di Pollino. The room and breakfast were simple but more than adequate, and we were made to feel welcome by the family.

The staff were excellent. I booked the stay for December instead of November by mistake so they were not expecting us when we arrived. Without any hesitation or fuss they quickly rearranged things and found us a spare room. The town in lovely and the facilities here great. We shopped for food and wine in the town them made ourselves a meal in the hotel kitchen area and used the fridge to keep our wine cold.

Immaculately clean, big comfy bed and a lovely lovely host, they provided a cot for our baby and even offered some nappies when we ran out on a Sunday evening. Parking round the back if requested. Delicious and huge breakfast in the morning. We ate at the bar in the evening and it was similarly great sized portions and such a nice local crowd. I cannot recommend this place enough!

The breakfast was plentiful though leaned heavily on pastry/ bread. Would have liked some cheese /egg/ meat. The property was very clean and well maintained inside by Agnese, the person looking after us who went beyond the call of duty on my behalf. ❤️

A good location for a relaxing getaway in Civita, Bed and breakfast La Sentinella is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the mountain.

Beautiful rustic home right in the centre of Civita. Room was big and spacious. The host, Marianna was warm and inviting and put on an incredible breakfast every morning. The views from the terrace was beautiful. Highly recommend this place if you are staying in Civita.

Gianluca is an amazing host. He gave us great advive on activities, places to eat and the rich history of Civita. We had a room with two balconys which was great during afternoon heat as one always had shade. Hiking the surrounding mountains and the Raganello Valley was a great experience. Go to Pollino and stay with Gianluca if you have the chance and enjoy the outdoors!

The best evening I ever had in Italy. Incredible hosts, beautiful traditional rooms, great breakfast.
