GermanyThe house is beautiful and in a nice neighbourhood. We got a warm welcome and enjoyed the stay very much. The view into the garden was like in the picture - lovely. The tatami-room was elegant and cozy. We were happy to enjoy the hospitality of the host family. Arigatou gouzaimasu!

United StatesLoved previous stay -- came here a second time for a longer stay! Koh-san is a super kind host, attentive and caring. Great space in the house, multiple rooms on the ground floor including the kitchen, everything is neat and clean. Koh-san always goes above and beyond: this time, he helped us buy tickets for a performance (which required research and dedication!), and also with a hotel reservation needing phone calls. Thank you so much for all your help, and we hope to be back again one winter -- Akita is our favorite prefecture!

The PERFECT place to stay in Akita. So quiet and beautiful. Surrounded by rice fields and a great place for sunset too. Hosts were so kind and friendly and rooms were spacious and cool. Would 100% recommend to anyone staying in Akita.

Room rates were cheaper than the city center. Host was friendly in communicating, even though he spoke mostly japanese. We answered in English and he was smiling away. Loads of parking available.
