Stunning mountain area. The onsen was incredible! You are really surrounded by forest. The meals we had were the best food we ate in the country. Real home cooking perfection. The onsen was a delight even in summer.

Everything. Especially our hosts, the loveliest giggly couple who absolutely went out of their way to make us happy. Our room was compact but very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, especially the salad. An easy walk to Everything the town has to offer. Hida folk village is well worth a visit.

I loved this place! On top of a hill and with beautiful Japanese decorations. I loved the Tatami mats in the room and the spacious kitchen/community area. The host is fantastic. I felt very comfortable and safe.
