The dorm is huge and very airy, double beds, even when there’s no electricity you get the wind, location right at the surf spot (roll out of bed and surf basically), it’s a pretty place. During the day all the surfers come and hang out.

My stay at Loma Linda Hostel in playa gigante was the highlight of my trip to Nicaragua. It was so nice that I didn’t want to leave and kept extending. Jenny and her family are incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel as though I was staying with friends. The hostel’s rooms are simple yet clean. But what really makes this Place Special is the familyconnection. This is what made the experience far more enriching than any five-star hotel could offer. You come as a guest and leave as a friend. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. During my time there, I met two other nice travelers. We sometimes also dined together with the Family in the evenings, engaging in conversations about Nicaragua and local life, which also helped me improve my Spanish. When I return to Gigante, I will undoubtedly stay at this wonderful guesthouse again. Many thanks to Jenny, Walter and the Sweet Little Girl Walkyria for this special time. I highly recommend this hostel to everyone—support the locals!

Everything! Rafa was an incredible host with such a warm and friendly nature. The cabins are set in such a beautiful setting within a tropical garden, even with heavy downpour it was nice to enjoy under the porch. The healthy meals are cooked fresh everyday which were the perfect fuel for surfing. Finally, finishing the day with a sunset swim on the beach was simply amazing.

The view is just amazing, so peaceful to have my morning coffee in the hamac. 3 min walking distance from an amazing beach (Playa Amarillo). Laura, the sweet owner, is still working on making this place a small gem since it is only open for a few weeks now. Kitchen has also everything you need to cook a simple meal.
