Our flight was delayed by four hours so we did not arrive until after 11.00 pm. Alan could not have been kinder and stayed up late to welcome us. The B & B is exceptionally comfortable and the cooked breakfast kept us going all day! We would happily have stayed longer than one night but we were on our way to Russell to meet up with friends. Many thanks for your great hospitality.

This is a beautifully curated property with lovely considered details such as vintage cutlery, luxury towels and linen, king size beds and nice decor. The setting is picturesque, and you can hear the native birds. Our hostess was very hospitable, even giving us some organic produce from her garden to take with us. Although remote, the property is located a few mins drive from Matakana and surrounding restaurants and vineyards. Highly recommend.

Annie's apartment was unexpectedly beautiful. It is quite rare that an apartment is equipped with so much attention to details and in such a warm and beautiful manner, exactly how we arrange our own houses, to feel good. At Annie's apartment, I didn't feel that it was something rented, but that it was our home. From the multitude of small things placed in the bathroom and the heated towel rail, the multitude and quality of the towels and linen, or the tablecloth on the terrace, from the multitude of pillows and blankets, if it's cold on the terrace, to the decorations interiors and the multitude of good things left in the fridge. The breakfast was excellent. Peter's omelette rivals the best omelettes eaten in hotels. And our garden, because we had a private garden, was an oasis of greenery and relaxation, with many sitting areas and extremely beautiful plants and flowers. We recommend it! ​
