When you pull into the drive of the Signal Box, you'll see a house under renovation to your left. Pay no attention to that, but look straight ahead; the unit above the garages is the large, lovely room you'll have all to yourself. Enormous windows look over the bucolic property, which gently slopes down to the Whanganui River. It's really like a mini paradise and owner Renee couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Highly recommended!

We loved everything about our stay here. The accommodations are outstanding and our host Maryann is the best. Friendly and so sweet. The breakfast was fabulous. The home is cozy and comfortable. The architecture of this old house is stunning.

Penny and Andrew made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The property is beautiful, bed was comfortable, and Andrew makes an excellent breakfast!

No breakfast offered as it was winter low season. We were happy to self cater using the attached hostel common area.(which by the way had comfortable sitting area with television, as did the gracious formal lounge reserved for B&B guests.)A really nice , grand and gracious old property undergoing renovations. Warm, spacious bedroom with french doors out onto balcony.

Simply fantastic. This is a really well appointed self contained small apartment in a very quiet part of town. Parking is outside the property on the street but very convenient and safe. The villa has all facilities for cooking and we eat in the villa all 3 nights. With an excellent washer and dryer we wee able to wash clothes and dry outside on a drying rack - ample pegs provided. There is a small, elegant garden with a sitting area to enjoy the evening sunshine. All was very comfortable. Supermarkets were close. It was a 1.5 to 2 km walk into town, which we did not do. An excellent stay

Warm and cozy vintage character home. Comfortable bedroom with window seating. Spacious inviting living room. Classic bathroom with claw foot bathtub and cubby space under the sink. Decorative touches, porch seating, and a rare screen door for front door to let the air in without the pests. Stacy was warm and friendly and provided a few fruits from her organic garden. Would highly recommend.
