Everything, especially the attention to detail from the decor in the room to the amazing and varied breakfasts. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. I was even driven to the physio due to a leg injury.

- Toutou is a great host, he will make that you feel like at home from the very first moment. Dar Hkaïem is a home away from home. I really felt like at home during my stay. I was supposed to stay for 2 days but I finally stayed almost a week... it's a great place with very positive vibes. - Dar Hkaïem is a wonderful traditional house in Hammam Sousse, just a bit outside of Sousse. Public transportation to Sousse, to the train station or to the louage is extremely easy (and also very cheap) and Hammam Sousse is by far much nicer than Sousse. I always walked back home at night and it's a super safe place. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, and also to stay in Hammam Sousse, the atmosphere is much better than in Sousse, especially in the evening or at night. - There are also plenty of options around Dar Hkaïem for a café, having dinner, etc. But if you prefer, you can have breakfast or even dinner in the house. There is also a kitchen that you can use (I didn't) but it has everything what you could need. - WiFi is excellent, I had to work a few times during my stay and it worked excellent. It's also the perfect place if you need to work remotely or if you just need a good WiFi for any reason. - Thanks for the great experience, I hope to come back soon!

This is an extraordinary little gem in the middle of the Medina in Sousse. Beautifully restored house with incredible focus on details. The rooms are stunning with wonderful bathrooms. Khaled is super easy to communicate with and Mouna makes you feel at home instantly and prepares a great breakfast.

The house is beautifully renovated with very good quality and taste. It is full of charm and cosy details. The furniture, the flooring, the doors, all the plants and the terrace make a welcoming and very enjoyable space to stay. Every room has access to the central patio light. The terrace is enjoyable day and night. I especially appreciated the little pool next to my room that allowed to cool off after a hot day out. The staff are very friendly and they go way far to help and make your stay comfortable. Access to the fridge in the kitchen is also very useful. The included breakfast was very good and served in an enjoyable area. The house is inside the Medina, so you get a feeling of life in Soussa. Walking distance to everything you may want to visit. I really recommend this house. It is definitely worth the price, which is very affordable for what you get.

This is such an amazing place, I've been raving about it to everyone! The Dar is just beautiful, it's such a treat to stay in such unique place. Beds are HUGE and very comfy. Breakfast is fantastic and very filling. The place even has its own turtle! But the best thing about our stay was the staff. I don't speak French so didn't interact much with Omar but would like to stress his kindness and hospitality when he invited all 6 people staying at the Dar to his own home to celebrate Eid Al-Adha with us. It was such a privilege and incredible insight into Tunesian culture. Also big shout out to lovely Yasmin who made breakfasts so special and patiently answered all my questions and to Tarek who was always at hand when I needed advice, help or just felt like chatting (his English is great). They are both awesome. Also special thanks to Tarek's mum who brought us homemade dinner on Eid Al-Adha so we wouldn't be hungry in the evening. ❤️ We felt like cherished family members, not just clients. Thank you!

Dar Benti is a guest house in the heart of the Medina of Monastir. It is really well-designed, it has spacious rooms and a pool. Staying there was really relaxing and giving the opportunity we would gladly return.

It is a very charming room in a top roof terrace in the Medina. It has coocking facilities. Very comfortable and near the comercial area of the medina, the wanderful Ribat of Monastir and the great Central Market (a great market indeed). The terrace in front of the room is a great place for early mornings and evenings. Easy to reach following the link in google maps. Parking is nearby and free. The person who takes care of you at your arrival is a great character, helfull an friendly (his contact is sent to you as soon as you book). I highly recomend this place as an immersive experience to life in the Medina.
