Beautiful building and rooms decorated with great imagination and loving care. Every room is a jewel filled with paintings, sculpture and objets which reflect the history of the building, Paco the owner’s family and Taos itself. What an interesting and invigorating place to stay. Paco is so knowledgeable about the area and a generous and welcoming host. The house is in a lovely and central part of Taos. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you Paco!

The little fireplace worked beautifully. The linens were fantastic quality. Close to walking to everything in the historic district. The inn is so cozy. It has games and a beautiful space to lounge in. The breakfast is spectacular. You pre-order and have it served. This place is charming and different and was an interesting stay.

We stayed in the old part of the hotel. Reminiscent of old style wild west saloon and hotel, but with all modern conveniences. Surprisingly comfortable. Room and ensuite were small but had everything we needed. Restaurant food and service were excellent. Folk music in the evening was most enjoyable and stopped at 9pm. no noise at all from bar or restaurant after 10pm, very quiet. Hotel gave us excellent recommendation for breakfast at Farmhouse Cafe, a few miles out of town.

Wonderful breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed. Great hot water. They provided all that we needed for our visit to Taos.

It's on a dead-end road with a nice open area behind the property which was great for our two Labs. It was also a great place for sunset photos! It was just a pleasant area all around. I had spoken to Sara on the phone prior to our arrival and she met us when we got there. She was just as friendly in person as she was on the phone. We met Bob later on and he was just as gracious a host throughout our entire stay. A tasty breakfast was served every morning. The common room has books & games. There are several inviting common areas outside as well. They were understanding when our 10yo yellow Lab Piggy got sick in the bed (ugh). I tried to rinse out the bed cover; I managed to make it worse and created even more laundry for them (double ugh). They were easy to reach when we needed extra towels and prompt with their delivery. The room itself was clean, well-kept and quiet. The water and room temperatures were easy to regulate (this mattered A LOT after the night we'd just spent elsewhere). We 100% recommend staying here!

The hacienda is from the 1800s and the rooms are beautifully decorated in Mexican style. The gardens were full of flowers with plenty of seats from which to enjoy them. Breakfast changed daily and our three were all delicious.
