Perfect spot if you plan to visit Shark Bay and Salinas without a tour (1h walk each way and 1h walk in between)

I received real good help for booking the ferry to Santa Anatao - and we had a wonderful dinner at a Mexican restaurant close by.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ocean Roof, it was the perfect base to explore the town and a great alternative to a resort-style all inclusive, which isn’t really our thing. It is very well located and everything is easily reached on foot - the beach is two minutes walk away. The roof terrace is lovely and secluded, and the small pool is great for those wanting a break from the beach. Everything in the apartment was quite new and the beds were really comfy, with great air conditioning and a small kitchenette, should you need it. There are lots of plugs in the apartment, and we also had a small balcony. JC, the owner, is an incredible host and will go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect - a 10/10. He organised any trips we wanted to do, and was always immediately contactable. Nothing was too much trouble, he’s a very helpful guy and it was nice to see an owner who takes a lot of pride in their property and guests’ experience. Due to our room being empty the next day, we were also given the benefit of a later check out to meet our flight time, which was hugely appreciated. Merci pour ce super séjour!

Super clean, great breakfast, wonderful staff who were so friendly and helpful.

Isabelle is an extraordinary host. She made my stay at Espargos, and helped me a lot in many ways: she called a tour guide and found me a place for the next day, she allowed me to stay one more night when my ferry was delayed without enough time for looking for another place, she gave me directions and even showed me the way to the bank and telecom shop,... What else? She prepared a delicious breakfast and we had nice chats in the mornings. The place is clean, room comfortable and spacious, and the house is just 15 minutes walking to city center, 2 minutes walking to a nice mexican restaurant that you must try! I highly recommend Isabelle's place. Thanks for your hospitality!

Featuring a garden and views of sea, Residencial Cabo Verde Palace is a recently renovated guest house located in Santa Maria, a few steps from Praia António Sousa. The property features garden and quiet street views, and is less than 1 km from Parish of Our Lady of Sorrows. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. All was fantastic, the location just in front the ocean, the room and Milu was so nice with me. The breakfast was amazing. For sure, I will repeat my experience with them if I come back! Totally recomended, thanks for all!

He was really helpful driving us into town the first night and then into the city next day to buy local Sim card.
