Everything is extremely clean and breakfasts were incredibly yummy. We loved the sounds of nature at night and it didn't bother us at all. We loved the warm water coming out of the shower too. This is probably the best accommodation we have had in our entire lives. It is definitely worth the experience. Mauricio and his wife are wonderful hosts who will make your stay PERFECT.

Very cute hotel, close to the beach, and the staff was amazing and always available to help. The rooms were comfortable and clean, breakfast was good and the restaurant/bar fairly priced.

Casa Shambala was a great stay. Wonderful little spot off the main roads. It was quiet and you didn’t hear any of the noise from the main roads. Wonderful units with great balconies. The pool was nice to cool off in on a hot day. The owner Vincent was very friendly and made sure you had a great stay. Highly recommend staying here and it’s also conveniently located.

The owners were lovely - very helpful and chatty but not over the top. The room was perfect for us - good to have the mosquito nets - the mosquitos were the only negative. Great proximity close to the beach. Had a swimming pool and towels. Breakfast was delicious.

It's a very peaceful place .Garden looks amazing like on the picture also have very nice natural pool.We stay in bungalow and we loved it. Location of the place is perfect one street over from the beach and all restaurants walkable everywhere.Hosts Alex and Kamille were very helpful and welcoming. i will definitely recommend Casa Picaflor. The house sits high on a mountain overlooking the town and the sea, a peaceful spot, yet only a short drive from the center. The hosts welcomed us with genuine warmth and were ready to help with anything we needed, from local tips to directions. Their friendliness really made us feel at home. The view is absolutely breathtaking the photos don’t do it justice. Whether during the day with the ocean in the distance or at night with the city lights below, it’s spectacular. The villa has plenty of space to relax. The rooms are simple but have everything you need: a comfortable bed, hot shower, and airconditioning. At night you’ll hear the full soundtrack of the tropics frogs, crickets, and other wildlife which adds to the experience. The hosts live on the property and have a few friendly animals, which gives it a genuine BnB atmosphere rather than a standard rental feel. Breakfast was one of the highlights: fresh fruit, pancakes, homemade bread, juice, coffee or tea, and eggs cooked to your liking by the host. A perfect way to start the day while enjoying the view. Overall, this was a peaceful and memorable stay, ideal for travelers who want to unwind, enjoy nature, and still be close enough to explore Las Terrenas. Highly recommended!
