Every detail had been thought of; two pieces of lemon drizzle cake in the room as a welcome was a lovely touch. The room is beauitfully appointed, very spacious with views on the beautiful grounds that surround the house, and it's own separate entrance (only the Balmain room has this I think) The bed is huge and super comfortable, we slept so well. The bathroom is also spacious and luxurious. Breakfast is made to order each morning, in addition to a breakfast buffet that you can help yourself to. Louise bakes all the cakes herself and they are superb. This is a stay I will always remember.

The property features inner courtyard and quiet street views, and is less than 1 km from Highland Folk Museum. Outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy the fresh air. We were very happy with our stay at Clune House, Bryan and Laura were amazing hosts. The rooms very clean and the beds were very comfy. They offered fresh goats milk for the room, which was really delicious. Also the complimentary fudges they offered were some of the best ones we had in Scotland. The breakfast was also great, Laura is a really great cook. Plus having some filter coffee was a plus for us. The location is great if you are driving to Highlands from Edinburgh or if you want to explore the Cairngorms Park.

We hung out, laughed a lot, swapped stories and creeds till way past my normal bedtime...and the conversations were fabulous! The beds were comfy, and my whole family slept great and woke up to a delicious breakfast feeling refreshed and ready to go on to our next Scottish adventure!
