Located in a perfect location within walking distance of a number of eating establishments Breakfast and staff were extremely helpful. Had a room on the top floor with a vertical spiral staircase. Ask for this room. Provided parking which was also a plus. The rate should have been higher as one could not ask for more. Would have paid more without a second thought.

A delicious breakfast is provided each morning in the chandelier-lit dining room, which has a log-burning stove for the colder months. Full cooked options are served, along with cereals, yoghurts. We only stated one night, but everything was terrific. The room and bathroom was very, very clean, to the point that we could have been the first ones to stay there. The bed was comfortable and warm, despite the cold and rainy weather outside. The breakfast couldn’t be faulted and I can without reservation give this place 5 stars.

Each stylish room has fresh light décor. The breakfast choices and the system in place for everyone to have a table when they wanted and pre-ordered breakfast was great. Lovely setting. Extras on the buffet were great.

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels.

Bowness-On-Windermere's quaint shops and restaurants are just a short walk from The Westbourne. Free parking is available. amazing location. Wonderful breakfast. rooms are big enough and modern. The hotel is walking distance from the city center. new owners. will definitely come back.

Original Victorian period features adorn the property, which also offers a cosy lounge. Very tasty and authentic British breakfast. Nice decor. Quiet at night,good for sleep. Affordable price. Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness. It offers vintage-style, luxury accommodation including Egyptian cotton linens, flat-screen TVs with DVD players, as well as free Wi-Fi. Wonderfully quirky little B and B. A very comfortable room with enough bedroom space. Loved the claw bath, this was in the bedroom, I loved this but some may not. The staff were friendly and welcoming. This little place was the perfect walking distance to Bowness for restaurants and Windermere for shopping.
