The hosts were always in touch via WhatsApp and made sure we had everything we needed. Since the house is a bit off the main hiking trail, they picked us up by car when we arrived and brought us back to the trail the next day — free of charge. We had an excellent, generous dinner with chacha and wine, and a delicious breakfast the next morning. Elos also helped us the following evening by driving all the way to Ushguli to pick us up and take us back to Mestia for 50 GEL (оn the way, he even treated us to ice cream and lemonade). Thanks to this, we could leave our backpacks in his car for the day and hike the final stage from Iprari to Ushguli with just light daypacks — which made a big difference! Highly recommended — we felt truly taken care of.

The owner showed up and drived us to his guest house. Actually the house is at the upper side of the village and the drive way is much better and easy to go. The day after, my friend had a leg bone broken, again the owner came to meet us at the glacier and arranged the ambulance and rescuers. He's so genuine and did everything for us. We are deeply moved by his kind support. BTW, the house is neat with a kitchen, the food his mother made is great. Its location is a plus, just a few metres away from the church where you'll have a great view of the sunset. We definitely will choose to stay here again.

The food superb and wine excellent. Highly recommend also having dinner and trying all the wines! 😋

This is such a lovely guest house. The owner Taona is the sweetest woman & although she doesn’t speak English you can communicate & feel her warmth. Both her children speak good English. Her breakfasts are amazing. Home cooked, plentiful, varied & so delicious. We had a comfortable triple room at the back with a view up to the hill behind with cows & horses grazing. It is a small farm with a lovely rural feel just outside the town of Mestia so very peaceful. There is a great restaurant in the town which Taona recommended. We had good walks & drove to Ushguli which was beautiful. I woukd 100% Recommend this guest house & it’s very good value. Thank you Taona. ❤️

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a pool with a view, mountain view and a patio, Kokhta guest house On the mountain is located in Jvari. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the guest house's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. We want the Kokhta family to adopt us. It was so nice. Can 100% recommend. The dinner is amazing.

I also really liked the big terrace with views of the mountains. The lady managing the place is very nice and welcoming.

The wine was exceptional and complemented the food perfectly. What truly stood out, however, was the hospitality. The staff were incredibly warm, honest, and genuinely friendly, creating an atmosphere that felt welcoming and authentic throughout the entire stay.
