We arrived quite late in the evening but Rani and Oussama made us feel really welcome from the start. The room has a comfortable bed, is lovingly furnished and is very clean. The views from the house are lovely. We booked the shorter tour to Gunung Bromo through Maison Manendra and that was very well organised and a nice surprise because the chosen route avoids most of the crowds (especially for the sunrise). The food shared around the big table on the rooftop terrace was always fresh and delicious and we had some very nice conversations with the other guests and also Rani and Oussama.

The owners are so lovely, and speak very good English. They are very helpful and welcoming. For me, the interior looked like something out of a fairytale - colourful windows, carved, wooden doors, plants, fishes, and a lot of decorative trinkets. The wifi was very fast - I was finally able to download and upload stuff. I already miss this place!

I especially loved the traditional Javanese architecture and decor, which added to the overall charm of the hotel. The food was delicious and top-notch. I would highly recommend Bhumi Kasuryan Borobudur for anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic Indonesian experience.

It’s relatively close to the Tegalluar Whoosh train station (around 30 mins by car) but quite far from the city center or Dago or Lembang area. If you want to see Bandung too, maybe it’s best to stay in two different places because it’s just more convenient. All the photos are representative of the reality. While the place is quite far from restaurants, it actually offers decent and rather affordable food and beverages. All made with TLC. Value for money was also excellent.

We booked multiple excursions through them and they went above and beyond to make us comfortable. (They lent us water shoes for Tumpak Sewu and even threw some cushions in the car for our long drive) Breakfast was made after our Sunrise at Mt Bromo despite us being a few hours late for breakfast. If you’re in Malang, stay here!!!
