He picked us up from the port and even picked us up from another port in the night time (we survived from the most adventurous journey - thankful to Koji!). Talk about the place: the guesthouse is cozy and warm. The shared facilities included kitchen and washing machine. The price of ramen and washing pods are the same price in the convenience store and may be cheaper. E-bikes are also provided with the cheap rate (1000 yen/day).

The units are equipped with heating facilities. The landlord is extremely kind. When I moved in, he gave me a detailed introduction on how to use the room. There's a clean kitchen, a living room with a TV, and a huge bedroom—it's fantastic! The landlord even lent me a bicycle, allowing me to explore the Yokai City in Sakaiminato freely! What's more amazing is that the landlord is actually from New Zealand! When he learned my name is Kiwi, he looked astonished. When I showed him my kiwi bird profile picture, we high-fived excitedly! What a wonderful coincidence! He kept showing me the New Zealand elements in the house, and there were really many!

With quiet street views, this accommodation offers a balcony. The great Torii is 600 metres away and Itsukushima Shrine Treasure Hall is 800 metres from the guest house. Perfect location, a hidden gem on island Miyajima! It was so nice to spend a night in a real Japanese house! Owner was really friendly, breakfast was delicious, we loved every minute we spent there!

The property features garden and quiet street views, and is 32 km from Saikon-ji Temple. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, full-day security and luggage storage for guests. Stayed as a pitstop while doing the Shimanami Kaido. Modernised traditional Japanese house. Staff was extremely welcoming and even wrote our name in Kanji. The house itself is clean, and there's even a free washing machine and dryer for use. For what we paid, we got great value and would definitely stay here again if doing the Shimanami Kaido or even just to visit the island.

We stayed here half way on the Shimanami Kaido. The host drove us to a absolutely beautiful onsen / bath house nearby, perfect after a days biking. She then made a reservation and dropped us off at a restaurant, one of the best meals we had in our trip. The accomodation is super spacious, clean and homely! A lovely breakfast was prepared before starting our second day. I could not recommend enough, we would definitely stay again if we come back.
