Free transport to the elephant transit home is provided. This place is amazing! It’s definitely the best stay for our three-week round trip . I can only recommend it. We booked a Standard double room , Which was their basic category. But it was fantastic! The room was super clean , which is not always in Sri Lanka. They had everything more than we expected like air conditioning, hot water , mosquito nets , a fan , tea coffee, and even pool towels were provided in the room. Also best value for the money. Unbeatable! The Wi-Fi was great in the room and restaurant. Pool area also had a another Wi-Fi which was good. The pool was our favorite super Large,clean like the rest of the property surrounded with nature great to relax and in the pool even have kind of jacuzzi that you can get a massage in the water :) We also booked a Half day 7 Hour safari tour through them and it was fantastic . Price was also very good compared to other offers we had . We saw many elephants, birds and many other animals . Had a great time with the breakfast inside the park .The driver explained everything to us and was very experienced. He didn’t bother animals or go with too many jeeps . If you’re going on a safari definitely go with the hotel. The owner was very friendly, professional and had lots of experience in the industry. The rest of the staff also very helpful and available always with a smile . Thanks a lot for the wonderful stay ! We‘ll definitely come back . Highly recommend this place!

Contemporary design/decor and well maintained grounds made for a visually appealing experience. Rooms are large with a full ensuite bath/shower. Glass wall at the front lets you see the grounds during the day; full set of curtains gives you the necessary privacy at night. For the price I found the value exceptional. Location is close to town but we used Tuk Tuk's to get there and back.

The villa is amazing, super well decorated and everything is clean and tidy. You wake up with a view right into the forest. Also always important for me: the bathroom. Great warm shower!

Sachith and his wife are so welcoming, the home cooked food is delicious and the room is really nice with an outdoor shower! They helped us book a safari which was amazing. Great experience!! Jungle View River Camping has river views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Udawalawe, 15 km from Udawalawe National Park. This guest house offers a garden. The guest house features family rooms. What a great place. The set up is beautiful. Even better than the photos. Great value for money the most beautiful hosts. We stayed 2 night and had dinner there on one night. The dinner was delicious. We saw fireflies at night in the garden. Our host arranged a safari for us. We loved our stay.

I loved every minute of my stay at Hasthi’s safari cottage! The room was beautiful, the outdoor bathroom is so peaceful and Mum’s cooking was amazing!!!! I felt really well looked after, the staff always checking to make sure I was happy and even a delicious aloe Vera drink on arrival. My host even gave me directions to get to Ella on the bus and came to make sure I found the bus stop ok- this was so lovely! My safari trip was organised for me and they thoughtfully gave me snacks to take with for the early start. I really recommend booking your stay here! Thank you Hasthi, Family and staff!
