If you want to see beauty and ambiance of chefchoan upclose , this is the place, we also had the kitchen , to make tea , we were given slippers to wear inside the property which were moroccan made traditional, I think that was a thoughtful detail. The breakfast was so good , best coffee and traditional breakfast, we are very happy we picked this place for our stay at chefchoan.

I had a truly wonderful experience staying at this hotel just a short walk from Chefchaouen’s charming old city and the beautiful waterfalls. The location is perfect for exploring the blue city while enjoying a peaceful and comfortable stay. One of the highlights of my visit was the warm and professional service from Yahya, the young man at the reception. He was incredibly respectful, helpful, and always went above and beyond to make sure guests felt welcome and taken care of. His positive energy and dedication to his work really stood out. At the guest house, all units are equipped with bed linen and towels. We spent two nights at Iguana Azul and were very happy with our stay. The riad is perfectly located—right in the medina, yet tucked away on a quiet and beautiful street just off the main road. Upon arrival, the receptionist, Walid, kindly offered us a choice between two rooms. The rooms were spotless, clearly newly renovated, with a comfortable bed and plenty of space. The rooftop terrace was a lovely place to relax, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. Amal at the reception was incredibly helpful in finding us the best way to travel from Chefchaouen to Rabat (note: when we were there, only one bus per day ran at 7 AM, but an alternative is taking a grand taxi to Tangier and then the TGV, which took us just 3.5 hours). We would have happily stayed longer—this is a truly comfortable, laid-back place, perfect for enjoying a coffee on the terrace with stunning views of the city. Zaed was excellent in promptly delivering anything I needed and I had a lot of requests during my stay! He was so nice and helpful to work with! The breakfast was good and I like that it was served on the rooftop. I had the Superior King room, which was incredibly beautiful with a great view from stained-glass windows!
