The property consists of two combined houses, making it quite spacious with a total of eight rooms (two rooms downstairs and the rest upstairs). It features an RFID door lock system and an automatic gate with a remote, so there’s no need to use a traditional key. We arrived late at night, but self-check-in was convenient, allowing us to settle in without waiting for the owner. The homestay also offers high-speed Wi-Fi, estimated at around 500 Mbps. Since all guests live under the same roof, you’ll have the opportunity to meet your housemates. Our rooms, located upstairs, were designed for two people and came with private bathrooms, which was very convenient. The living room has TVs available for use, and a washing machine is beneath the staircase. The parking area accommodates about three cars inside the compound and two additional cars outside. The owner was also very responsive to my inquiries. Thank you very much for a great experience! I will definitely return for my next stay. :)

The house was comfortable, well-maintained, and had all the basic amenities we needed. Wi-Fi connection was stable, and there was ample parking space. It’s also conveniently located near local shops and attractions. Highly recommended for a quiet and pleasant getaway.

Zach was the kindest host - he stayed up for my late arrival and dropped me at the airport for my very early departure. After travelling around Malaysia for work, I was feeling knackered but Zach's home was an absolute home away from home, the perfect place to rest and relax. It was nice to stay in a kampung (village) and you are directly across the river from the main part of town with a fun (and cheap) water taxi to take across. Excellent wifi and comfy room with lots of space! Would be a great park up for a few weeks or so if you're a digital nomad! I will be back :D Thank you Zach!

Most of all, amazing owners who immediately make you feel at home and help to foster a friendly community atmosphere. Worth every penny for the people you meet and friends you make as long as you’re willing to put yourself out there. We loved Marco Polo and can’t wait to come back!
