I rarely bother writing reviews but I enjoyed my stay at Hostel Azul so much, I thought I would leave a review on this occasion. I treated myself to the queen room, a Christmas present to myself! It was spacious, the bed was very comfy, the huge walk-in closet also had a modern clothes airer and the bathroom was large and clean and well lit. It all felt very modern. The pool, hammocks and the lounge chairs outside were great for relaxing and the large fridge came in useful, especially the ice and water dispenser. There was a choice of breakfasts. The tours I booked with the hostel were well-ran with very professional guides and transportation people. The owners of the hostel couldn’t have been more helpful, happy to their spend time with the people staying there and answering all the questions I had. They made me feel like family!

The hotel is super peaceful, a hummingbird hung out at the flowers in the courtyard, breakfast is simple but delicious.

The location is great, just a few blocks from the downtown area in a very relaxed neighborhood. The cabins are simple and lovely. It is not like a normal hostel. It is more like a little co-living village. If you look for party crowds, this is not your spot. But if you need a relaxed place to stay, chill, work, cook, live and relax, you could easily stay here a couple of months. Lorena, the owner, was very helpful with organizing tours. For me the value for money was once again excellent. I'm looking forward to come back!

It is set 30 km from Volcan Masaya and features a housekeeping service. The guest house has family rooms. It is a lovely hostal hosted by locals. Everythinh was perfect and clean! The hostal is very central in Granada. The host was super helpfull. We came back after late one night before check in. She waited for us until late to let us in to the hostal. We had a super time!
