All units feature air conditioning and a cable flat-screen TV. All units are fitted with a kettle, a private bathroom and free WiFi, while selected rooms have a balcony and some have mountain views. At the bed and breakfast, each unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. Oh my god what a view and place! Landscape was just like in a dream. Easy to find and free parking space were bonus. Room was clean and really nice size. Sauna/spa was beautiful. We did enjoy the breakfast also, so many local foods.

Also, due to an unexpected traffic jam on the way here, we couldn't make it by 8PM, but it was no problem to arrange online a late check-in.

The interior of the room was much bigger and modern than we thought. The location is great. Only 5 minutes walking to the lake and where all the shops are. We were also surprised by how great the breakfast was.

A tourist information point and a gallery of local arts and crafts are also on site. Very nice and clean room with all facilities you need. The staff was friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend this accommodation.

A local bus stop is next to the property. The city centre of Kranj is at a distance of 4 km, while the mediaeval town of Škofja Loka, a cultural monument, is 10 km away. The popular Krvavec Ski Area and the capital city of Ljubljana are within a 20-km radius from the Aleš Guesthouse. All the staff members were amazing, super friendly and very helpful! The room was clean, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of options. The staff was always attentive, asking if we wanted more coffee or eggs, which they gladly brought. They also recommended great places to visit in Slovenia. As a lovely touch, they welcomed us with a traditional drink. Another highlight was the location. Not in the middle of the city, but in a small village, which added a magical charm to the whole Slovenia experience. Overall, I highly recommend it!

Set in a 19th-century villa, Penzion Vila Prešeren is located directly on the shores of scenic Lake Bled, below the castle in the centre of Bled. It offers free Wi-Fi.
