The small neighbourhood has an almost village-like character and is located near the beautiful Westsee lake. There are nice cafés and restaurants all around and plenty of secular, religious and natural excursion destinations. So the location is great! What I found most wonderful was the friendliness of the owners! They were incredibly helpful and forward-thinking in every situation. The area is beautiful but therefore very popular. Sally was a perfect host, cooking beautiful Chinese and American breakfasts on alternative days.
