We had a great night staying at Paul’s B&B. He is incredibly welcoming and always very attentive throughout the stay. He also cooks a cracking breakfast. Bed was super comfy, room was well equipped and the surroundings stunning, couldn’t ask for more.

Superb location. The Boat House has a garden down to the Loch and is close to the local shop and petrol station. The Lochmaddy Hotel (very good food) is less than a 5 minute walk as is the excellent Arts Centre with its shop and great cafe.

The Fisherman's Snug self catering North Uist is set in Paible and offers a garden. The property has lake and garden views.

This is one of the best places where I stayed during one and half month trip in Scotland islands. You need a car to reach it. It's a bit isolated but you get so much. Ann is in charge of this flat, her husband is a fisherman (1000 creels!). She is a wonderful woman who tries to do her best for her guests. And she succeeds. Close to her house is a new single storey house (our flat). Totally new. Living room with a kitchenette and sofa. Fridge, microwave. Sleeping room with a large and very comfortable bed. Large bathroom with shower and also a bath. Toiletries. Large towels. Ann has a good sense for decoration . As it's a bit a bed and breakfast, Ann leaves A LOT of food in the fridge, everything you need for a huge breakfast. And if something is missing, she will bring it. There is a private entry but we can call Ann anytime and she will always come smiling. Large parking. To reach the long beach, you can walk 15 mn or take the car and then walk 5 mn.
