There are a few nice walks in the area, but in general there are not a lot of trails. If you are into walking, check out Fearnoch Forest (access next to Angus' Garden, about a mile up the road), or walk over the ridge and to the beach via Balindore. In the village, there is a very well stocked village grocery shop with the friendliest shopkeeper in the world. Nearest serious walk is Ben Cruachan, but we did not get there. We had an amazing time there...the location, the peaceful area, the trees and flowers, even the animals...waking up in the morning and having coffee with that view! We loved our little village. The location was excellent, near Oban and the lakes, really helped our road trip. We could cook and enjoy lunch at the house. Lots of footpaths nearby for great country walks and a nice village within walking distance.
