If you’re dreaming of pure countryside peace surrounded by emerald-green hills, book Agriturismo Campo del Pillo without a second thought. The location is stunning - exactly the quiet, pastoral setting we were searching for, and it recharged our batteries so completely that we kept extending our stay in our minds. Our room was spotless, neatly arranged, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Each morning began with a generous farmhouse breakfast: fragrant local cheeses, cold cuts, and jams all produced locally and bursting with flavor. Host Fabrizio embodies Italian hospitality. Although we arrived later than planned, he greeted us like old friends and with much care. Later, He personally opened the jacuzzi so we could unwind and relax. Throughout our visit, he checked in with genuine warmth, offered thoughtful tips on hiking trails and village trattorias, and made absolutely sure we lacked for nothing. Campo del Pillo is one of those rare places that feels both homely and special. Perfect for slowing down, breathing deep, and savoring life’s simple pleasures. We recommend it wholeheartedly and already look forward to our return.

The stay in Casale Monte Valestra was an absolute treat. The breakfasts, the view, the room, the landlord - everything has been just perfect. It's quite, cosy and very well equipped. We can only recommend this place to anyone who considers stay with a family in a place that is not swarmed with tourists. Ideal location to do some trekking (some locations you need to drive to - but the view are worth it), a lot of local producers who have fantastic food (parmigiano reggiano, aceto balsamico and others). The recommendations of the landlord as to what to visit and do in the local area - priceless. Despite not ideal weather - this has been just perfect.

It is very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The host is great, very forthcoming. He asked us evening before, what we want for breakfast and next morning all was there, accompanied by freshly plucked apricots from own garden.

Lovely property in the middle of nowhere (to me it’s a plus :) - quiet, green area. We arrived late at night and had contactless checkin, very convenient. Beautiful furniture in the apartment! (one more bed hidden in a chest of drawers is a genious idea). Coffee and tea in the kitchen with a separate entrance (more beautiful furniture!). Our daughter had a separate full-size single bed.

Amazing place, very warm welcome and goodbye from the owners. Quiet and peaceful. Nice location to visit Emilia Romagna, nice walk not far from property.

We loved everything. Daniela and Sabrina were fantastic hosts. The property is brand new and modern. The rooms are big and so nicely decorated. The breakfast was so good. You need a car to get here but if you are on a road trip, the road is so nice and the view stunning. I would give 20 out of 10 if possible.
