We booked last minute - room selected at check in we were pleasantly surprised to be put in a traditional room along the river with amazing views. I read the reviews about the food and I can guarantee they have changed the service and it was absolutely delicious.

The atmosphere was unlike anywhere I have been before, the mountains, room, hotel decor and the river at the bottom were exceptional. The staff were very helpful and the half board dinner and breakfast were superb. The private outdoor bath on the balcony is a wonderful place to just sit and take in your surroundings.

The location was perfect for us for our stay. The room was much larger than we expected and extremely comfortable. The onsen was clean and so peaceful. A beautiful quiet location. We will be back!

The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The multiple Onsens were fantastic, in particular the outdoor ones, as well as the dinner. The curtesy shuttle to and from the station was very helpful as we arrived and departed during snow fall.
