The homestay is really beautiful and very peaceful. Our room was very comfortable and with lovely self made wood furniture. We had a small terrace and garden in front of our room and a very nice bathroom. The hosts were super welcoming and helpful with planning our hikes in the surrounding area. At night they made a fire in the garden. The last couple of hundred meters to the place are very steep, which is typical in the area. It’s about 30 minutes walking to Lushoto or 5 minutes by transport with motorcycle. We would definitely come back, especially once the pool they are building is finished :)

We have been to Lushoto several times and have stayed at various hotels. This time, we came across this property and decided to give it a try and oh my were we pleasantly surprised. The house is a 3 bedroom property with 1 master bed room. The kitchen is big and fully equipped. Hot water available at all times. The host/caretaker was extremely helpful and accomodating. The house to be honest felt like a home. The surrounding is very peaceful and well maintained. We had booked for 2 nights but the family enjoyed the stay so much that we wanted to extend for another night. Unfortunately it was already booked. The network is sketchy but there is WiFi in the house. We had a very relaxing time and would want to stay here again.

    Fantastic accommodation that exceeded our expectations! Stunning location both private yet within humble village life where the people are friendly and welcoming. The house has a vast array of amenities and comforts that we haven't experienced in other self catering properties in Tanzania, particularly in more remote locations like this one. Lushoto town is only 10 minutes with restaurants, shops etc. Everything was perfect and very convenient!
