My room was cleaned everyday. Free espresso-type coffee and some teas at the lobby. I could use a washing machine in my room.

On my last day, they even prepared a traditional Chinese breakfast just for me, which was such a special touch. The coffee is excellent too! They went above and beyond to help with everything—from organizing airport transfers to arranging tickets for the Great Wall. I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better stay. Highly recommended!

The translation apps work perfectly for communication! The food was out of this world. It was by far the best food we had in China! Grandma's homecooked meals were so delicious and so big...we wished we could have finished the plates, but we were so full! Nobody has to worry about being hungry at the Great Wall. The portions are so big. We had breakfast and dinner and it was the best. This family takes care of you so well. They pick you up, drop you off and just do everything you need. Thank you so much for everything!

Nestled in the laid-back Gubeikou Town, the single-storey house would be a warm base to explore the wild Beijing. Everything was better than perfect.
