You cannot be closer to Wilpattu National Park, the park gates are literally in front of the homestay. Lovely family that can organize safari trips for you and meals too! I had an amazing full-day safari and we saw everything! Even the leopards! I also booked with a naturalist and it was definitely worth it. So much fun to learn about all the animals. Jeewa, Masha, and Oleena made our stay wonderful. Their homestay is lovely, jungle vibes. The room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious, and Masha's dinner is very tasty. Jeewaa was always giving us advice and helping us to decide what to do around. We went on a safari with a guide that he recommended, and apart from being cheaper than other places, the guide was also very knowledgeable and professional. We wanted to do some Ayurvedic spa treatments, and we found other places quite expensive, but Jeewaa recommended us a local Ayurvedic centre, and the place was half the price then other places and it was SO GOOD! Our kids had the best time, Oleena (the couples' daughter) was always so friendly and playing with our kids. Our kids ended up joining the neighbourhood kids' gang. We had the most wonderful stay if one day we come back to Sri Lanka, we would definitely go back to Oleena's homestay. Jeewaa, Masha and Oleena, thank you so much.

Relaxed and happy vibe to the place with lovely pool area.

The property has pool views and is 10 km from Pidurangala Rock and 11 km from Sigiriya Rock. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Everything was great. Breakfast, help, and kids enjojed the pool. We even had evening koncert and playing the guitar and singing. Simple, nice lokation and really frendly host. Thank you for your concern and special ayurveda tea when I had swore throat.👍

Well set in Anuradhapura, Water Front Home Stay and Resort is a recently renovated homestay, which provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and free private parking. Guests staying at this homestay have access to a terrace. The homestay offers garden views, an outdoor fireplace and a 24-hour front desk. Our host was very kind and friendly! He also helped us to arrange a tuktuk and wonderful guide for the ancient city. Breakfast was served very prompt and you could sit out in the garden to enjoy it. Large mineral water tank that we could use to fill our small bottles. Parking for a small car was very good, just right in the yard. And we could leave the car there after check out while we did our tour in the morning. After the tour, the host kindly offered a place in his lobby to rest before continuing our journey. The room itself was very spacious and had a nice towel rack. Air conditioning worked great and we had blackout curtains. Ensuite bathroom was clean and had good hot water and pressure. Toiletries were very simple (soap and shampoo) so would recommend to bring your own if you have a more extensive routine (facial wash, conditioner, shower gel, toothpaste etc.). As we were there during the low season, our host was doing some maintenance painting work around the house. Which is a great sign and he planned it in away to make sure it didn't disturb our stay.
