Welcoming drinks at the arrival, sparkling wine at the room. Spacious room with huge bed and even bigger pillows. Free access to the natural pools. As pools were too cold for us, we enjoyed the jacuzzi zone on the hotel roof. Breakfast was nice, with many fruit options and a nice view. Good value for money.

The host is very available, responsive, friendly and welcoming. Check in is completely seamless. The property has a beautiful, sizable garden with a great view of the town and ocean. My partner and I absolutely loved our stay in this property because of all the attention to detail that the host put towards the furnishing and decoration of the apartment, which is a rarity. Some places are furnished expensively but in an impersonal and cold style, but this one is truly someone's home, with great character, that the host is sharing with you.

A beautiful Quinta set high above Funchal, with incredible views over Funchal. Especially for New Years Eve fireworks! Part of the downstairs is a dining area where breakfast is served, or on the terrace outside the dining room - which most of us did. You can use the large kitchen of the Quinta to make drinks throughout the day and evening and store items in the fridge but the cooker is not to be used. The other huge downstairs room seems to be an office environment for a company that has about 5 staff on site office hours. All the accommodation is upstairs. The room we had was at the front of the Quinta, large and spacious. Very comfortable and clean with incredible views of Funchal. Other rooms have a view of the plantation behind but also seemed very spacious when I looked in.

Lovely house well located outside of the main city. Beautiful view to the ocean, the house was clean during our stay and the owner was always there for us whenever it was a question or a concern. We would totally come back here. Also the pictures of all the artists and their signature is amazing. Thank you boss man
