The guest house was only opened this season and is therefore still rather quiet. The comfortably furnished safari tents are located directly on a river bend. A restaurant offers dining on a terrace with sunset views. There are also campsites with their own kitchen and bathroom. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. When we didn't want to end our Botswana trip staying in a typical hotel we decided on staying at Jayla's homestay. Best decision we made. Immediately we felt we had come to stay with family or friends. The warm welcome continued for the duration of our stay as we unwound from bouncing around the back country of Botswana. All the reviews made mention of the meals prepared by Mmapula and how the food was so good. I had a hard time believing this but it is so true. I asked her repeatedly if she had trained or cooked professionally and she said no. What a talented natural cook she is. Everything she prepared for us was delicious. Also, she is very generous with her time and we had long discussions on the day to day living in Botswana.  Please note this is a homestay. There isn't a pool or anything fancy. Our room was a good size with a fridge, kettle, coffee and tea. Good A/C and to my wife's delight a big bathtub. There was a comfortable outside seating area with a fridge as well. Dinner is at the communal table with the other guests where you can share you traveling stories. Just a great stay.

The place is Located conveniently close to the town center, it offered modern amenities and a spacious layout. The kitchen was well-equipped, perfect for cooking meals, and the living room was cozy with a comfortable couch. The bedroom was clean and had a nice view, making mornings enjoyable. The bathroom was tidy and had good water pressure. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with friendly neighbors and easy access to local attractions. I'd recommend it for anyone visiting Maun looking for a home away from home

It is a new hotel. The hotel was ok - the room was big and clean. The manager came to town to pick us up as the adres was unknown to our navigation systems. Friendly personel. You can use the kitchen and cook your meal.

Beautiful and clean studio-apartment with a lovely little garden and swimming pool. Tebla is a kind host who is also a wildlife guide and gave us good advice for our upcoming travel plans. There is a very kind dog living on the premises.

It is seldom when you WISH to write something about the hotel, but this is the CASE! When you drive 20 km from Maun on a sandy road, you start thinking about what to expect.... Arriving at Tshilli you understand imidiately, that this is the place you want to stay and regret, that it's just 2 nights. You simply do not want to leave. And it's not only because of services, which are on excellent level, but it's in every tiny detail - either at the lodges, of at the restaurant area, or at the farm, pool or even at the toilet. Remommend to stay as long as you can (1 night is definitely not enough)!
