Esther is an excellent host who welcomes us warmly and introduces the apartment in details. Welcome drink and snacks are nice. Well-appointed and really spotless apartment with everything neatly set. Nice garden with a clean swimming pool. Greenly country view. Very quiet at night. We also visited the deer farm and my daughters liked it very much. Thank you Esther. Highly recommended. A really relaxing environment that provides all we need for our short stay.

The host was great! Super helpful and friendly and let us leave our bags there overnight while we went to schaffler hut. The breakfast spread was nice and the rooms were clean. Hot water was great. Best location right on front of the station.

Great location for hiking in Appenzell. 10 min drive from the main town with restaurants and supermarket. Beautiful views of the mountains. Very clean, and spacious rooms. Continental breakfast was extensive. Loved the homemade bread rolls and wide selection of teas. Would stay again if I hike in that area.

Lovely hotel facing the snowcapped mountain and the greenery hill with mountain peak background. Plenty of on-site parking spaces. Staff are very friendly. The hotel is well maintained, has lift and Michelin star restaurant. Our room has balcony and a bench to enjoy the beautiful view. Room is spotless. Towels have no musty smell. Bedding is clean. Bed is comfortable, we have a good sleep. Good breakfast. Exceptional dinner. We will return in our next Switzerland visit.

    Couldn't have been an easier check-in. I contacted Esther beforehand and asked for a slightly earlier check-in and there was no problem with that. I was greeted at the property with a warm welcome and a tray of snacks and a drink. The apartment is spotless and incredibly comfortable.
