The hotel will let you know where the taxi should drop you off. it is about 1-2 minutes walk from the drop off. The owner will meet you at the drop off to guide you to the hotel. The location for the Hotel is really strategic. We stayed for 2 nights and managed to explore the main area multiple times. The sound from nearby pubs were off around 11pm so it wasn’t an issue for us. The owner was try friendly and helpful in his suggestions (especially on good food). We will stay here again in future.

Everything was simply perfect. I have no words to describe how grateful we are for our stay in this place. The staff is great, seriously. They took care of us from the very beginning until the end. The room also received a free upgrade, which was really nice. You can’t go wrong with this place, you will feel like home. If we’ll ever go back to Fenghuang, this will be our choice. Thank you to everybody, you were all great🙂

10/10 - Outstanding Stay at Kaisheng Hotel!​​ Kaisheng Hotel went above and beyond to make our trip to Fenghuang amazing! They kindly offered ​​free pickup from the train station​​, which was super convenient. The staff was ​​incredibly friendly​​—always smiling and eager to help. I had a fantastic stay at Phoenix Haven! The location is perfect, right inside the scenic area, making it easy to explore the ancient town on foot. The owner is incredibly hospitable and provided me with a detailed map and great local tips. My room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with traditional touches. It was also surprisingly quiet at night, allowing me to rest well. If you're looking for a cozy and well-located stay in Phoenix Ancient Town, this is a great choice!

Everything about this place was perfect. The host was wonderful and it was obvious that it was important to him that we had a wonderful stay. The accommodation is wonderfully situated in the heart of ancient Fenghuang close to all the activities that a traveller might want to do. The accomodation itself was sparkling clean and new. Overall, I honestly thought this was a perfect place to stay in the dream that is Fenghuang.

I would highly recommend this hotel. It is just outside the busiest part of Fenghuang ancient town so you don't need to battle the crowds but still 600m from river (the outdoor bath was so relaxing). The staff were truly attentive and helpful, the room spotlessly clean, free laundry service and it has an utterly amazing upper floor with an infinity pool. Great value for money. Small touches like floor lights that lead you to the bathroom at night added an extra touch.
