Very nice experience. The cabins were not difficult to find and remote enough to have privacy and some quiet. There were towels, indoor bathroom/shower, coffee facilities, and basic cooking supplies in the room which was nice. They even had a microwave and fridge. I was given the choice between a volcano or town view, and I chose the volcano. They had a small parking lot and good breakfast at whatever time you ask for - traditional Costa Rican breakfast. You can pay by card at the property. There were a few short 1km trails, a pool, and a playground available, which would be nice when it's warmer. The host was friendly and each cabin had WiFi, although some of it was a little unstable. I still had 4G data connection, which made it a very nice stay! About 40 min drive to Turrialba. I spoke Spanish with the host - unsure of her English ability.

Mark, Anabel, and Auxi were wonderful. I was very grateful Auxi was there to make us meals. We had a simple ham and cheese sandwich & fries for lunch and steak, salad, fries + dessert for dinner. If you do not have a 4x4 car it makes it difficult to go up the hill to get to the bungalow so that is the only thing I would make sure you have before coming. But also because of that - we were extremely grateful to have Auxi make us meals and also that it was not a menu so we didn't have to think or choose what to eat, but just ate what was provided. Both Mark and Ana are very friendly and we loved their energy. The facilities were great. We loved the rain and quiet. The view was spectacular waking up. Nortico is very closeby for a nice small walk. So many friendly dogs around! Bonus - the water was a bit low pressure in the bungalow but loved that it got HOT.

Casa Lajas is very beautiful and special. It's the perfect place to relax and connect with Mother Nature. The staff is super friendly and always happy to help with any needs or extras. I enjoyed the location, it's amazing if you are looking for a place to disconnect from people, the noise, and everything going on this is the place to go. We enjoyed the place, from being able to see a night sky full of stars.     Location is good, around Turrialba there are many things to do and the staff can organise trips. We asked for a cheese tour, which was not on their list, but they sorted it ou for us. The hotel is very nice, with a roof terrace and a backyard, and a noce seating area near the reception with 24/7 coffee and tea facility.

    Friendly, family run, small boutique hotel. A spectacular location with far reaching views from the large covered deck. The family room was large, comfortable and very clean. Thank you for offering such a lovely place to stay.
