Such a fantastic taste of paradise. Everything at subtropica is done with love and skill. The breakfasts are superb, the pool is crystal clean and perfect temperature, the grounds are gorgeous with healthy beautiful plants growing everywhere. Everything! We loved everything about it! So elegant, private, well equipped, lovely design right in town but by the countryside. Ronnie was great as a host and we simply loved it. The owners have created a lovely space and great suites within it.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and served a really nice breakfast. The room, our own terrace, but also the hotel garden were all beautiful. The bathroom was very big and clean and had a nice jacuzzi. We will come back here for sure.

This place has everything you could be asking for. Lovely stuff, great quality, yummy food, comfortable, spacious rooms, it feels like everything has been thought though until the very last detail. If you like nature, this is your place. They even have their own walking trails. But the true highlight is the viewing platform in their main house. We spent so many hours there and saw all kinds of amazing birds (toucans, toucanets, parrots, humming birds, and more). Highly recommended staying here
