The Retreat is a beautiful property in the heart of Devon, it has all the modern devises that you can dream for cooking and the touch of having a TV set , built into the bed… but just amazing! I did enjoyed so much my stay surrounded by design, peace, and stylist decoration. The landlord was always available and helpful with our requests. We are so pleased that we had our little retreat there. Absolutely we recommend to everyone.

Booked Brambles for my elderly aunt as we were staying in Devon and she wanted to stay at a B&B. Dave & Alison were fantastic hosts, very friendly and helpful they went over and above for her during her stay. Lovely big room with a beautiful garden. Tasty drinks etc. and whatever she wanted for breakfast. She has been recommending to all her friends back here in New Zealand. Thanks

    The Retreat is a very fresh looking ground floor one bedroom apartment. We found it to be spotlessly clean, with comfortable furnishings and modern kitchen and bathroom fittings. The location suited us very well for visiting family nearby and its close proximity to the M5, enabling us to go to Taunton, Exeter and the coast easily. We appreciated the breakfast provided and the lovely bottle of wine made us feel very welcome. We will definitely consider staying there again when we're in the area.

    Everything was spotless and tidy, beautiful location, huge shower, gorgeous accommodation and very comfortable. Perfect communication from the hosts and even found the best route for when there was roadworks. Lovely complimentary toiletries. Quality furniture and bedding. Hosts went above and beyond to make an incredible stay.
