What a surprise to walk into a clean, very neat apartment and immediately feel at home. There was everything in the kitchen, even a whole loaf of bread, milk, butter in the fridge, there were also biscuits, jam and lots more. Many thanks to a wonderful hostess who makes it so easy for travelers to feel at home in her unit and pays attention to even the smallest detail. Highly recommended, thank you very much!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They always accommodated us and were very generous. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who stays in Galashiels. The rooms are neat, tidy, and well decorated. The Victorian style of building was very charming and beautiful. The location is amazing, private while being on the river tweed but also close to everything in Galashiels.

PERFECT is the only term that can qualify this outstanding establishment : impoising and manor like exteriorly, but happily surrounded by beautiful ground and flowers. Warm welcome on arrival, fantastic, spacious room where no comfort or detail is missing, very good bed AND armchairs, very quiet. Spacious and pleasant bar and restaurant, and the best food we’ve had among the 10 hotels we’ve stayed at during our trip. It is truly wonderful to end our journey on such a wonderful note. The owner was very helpful. He contacted me by phone to confirm my arrival time and when I informed me that I was delayed due to my flight arriving late. He kept the accommodation available and made sure I could access the property at a late hour. The following days he provided me with excellent advice on where to eat and visit for the duration of my stay. I would repeat my booking.
