Excellent location and ideal for active people. You can travel light as all rentals, bedding etc is provided for you. There is a kitchen hut with free for all use of the facilities if your glamping. Howard and Fiona were very attentive and were excellent for advising on local areas to visit and places to explore. It is an adult only facility and dogs are allocated to certain areas to ensure it’s a tranquil and relaxing stay if that’s what you’re looking for. We walked from the camp site through the valley all the way to Ladram bay - ~3.5 hike but beautiful countryside and views of the ocean on the coastal path.

Host was very nice. Gave a tour of the place when we arrived and left a cute freshly baked welcome cake. Beautiful and spacious house. Loved the views and outdoor areas. Family friendly and facilities like games and cutlery were provided. Beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms. All rounder a beautiful and memorable stay.

Very well decorated little cottage. Little farm shop with long opening times is a great plus. Beds are comfortable, with a spacious back garden with rabbits (?) wandering around. Bathroom is also great.

The Retreat is a beautiful property in the heart of Devon, it has all the modern devises that you can dream for cooking and the touch of having a TV set , built into the bed… but just amazing! I did enjoyed so much my stay surrounded by design, peace, and stylist decoration. The landlord was always available and helpful with our requests. We are so pleased that we had our little retreat there. Absolutely we recommend to everyone.

It’s fabulous! Beautifully built and designed and so comfortable. Everything you need for a comfortable cosy stay. It is in a great location, lovely views and at night a sea of stars and hooting owls. Lovely walks nearby and a short drive to the coast.

    What a beautiful location and set up, cherry tree safari lodge and Riverwood Glamping site was fabulous! Peaceful and relaxing. The safari tent was out of this world and the hot tub is an added luxury.

    The location and property was prefect to escape the the rush of everyday life, to kick back and relax. Barbecue in wood land setting, relaxing in the wood fired hot tub and then to relax on the decking with drink looking out on to woodland. The isolation was wonderful, i hope they can keep the location this way, the hut is down a short path about a two minute walk from the the parking lot.
