What can I say. This fine establishment exceeded all our expectations. It was the attention to the fine details that makes a good stay, and excellent stay. Tom and Deidre really excelled in everything that made here, truly, a home from home. They have surpassed the level that was expected, in every aspect, when one arrives at such an establishment. We and our dog Martha had a wonderful stay at Teach Ards. Shani welcomed us in such a friendly way and showed us the house and its functionalities. The house is beautifully decorated, has 5 bedrooms and everything we needed. The views and surroundings are just breathtaking. The single-track road to the house is typically for Ireland’s country side - challenging at first but you get used to it quickly. Shani left us bread, cookies, butter and milk behind, which we appreciated a lot but unfortunately couldn’t accept (except the bread) as we don’t consume animal products. We hope to be back again!

This is an exceptional property. Private and quiet with every little detail thought of. It is such a special place and if you want a taste of Ireland and a place to rest and take in the countryside it is perfect. A beautiful brook running through the woods, chickens, ducks and an apple orchard. It is idyllic. We couldn’t believe our luck to spend a night somewhere so beautiful.

Beautiful home, lovely host (with lovely dogs too). Never seen a place so clean, and the bath tub was a plus too. Easy drive to Kenmare, in a nice quiet area.

This is a unique place to stay. The remote nature of the properties add to the ambiance and relaxation experience of this beautiful venue. We were privileged to be some of the first guests to stay at Wild Hideaway and it did not disappoint. The view from the properties were beautiful and all of the extra amenities are a bonus. The hosts are so helpful and attentive when needed but really want you to have your privacy. This is an excellent couples get away very romantic, some fantastic hiking trails on the doorstep and it is pet friendly. The local village is very welcoming also. We cant wait to go back.

The location was beautiful. and views were amazing. Easy to get to places. Loved seeing all the animals in the fields. Many times weather permitting we sat and watched the world go by with a coffee. The hosts were wonderful. and are so knowledgeable about the history of the area. with suggestions of places to visit.
