Everything! The house is spacious, warm and inviting. It was a cool evening outside, but the property was toasty warm inside. We received a warm welcome before being directed to our room. The room too was spacious, spotlessly clean and had plenty of storage space. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious, with a choice of full Irish breakfast, cereal or scrambled eggs. The host was a lovely lady, very funny and welcoming and really went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The location is great too, only a short drive from Ferns and Enniscorthy where we were visiting. Plenty of parking too, and it's a lovely private location, secluded from the roadway, so secure too.

We were in Berna's Cottage for nearly 2 weeks and from the moment we entered the cottage it felt like home. The Cottage is cosy and perfect in every way. Cathy and Paul are perfect hosts and give you the feeling of a warm welcome when you arrive. The view from breakfast/Diner room is stunning and nice to start your day with.(and ofcourse the rest of the day) Bunclody is a lovely town with all needed for all that visit Berna's Cottage. Everything was fine...I was late arriving and given a key and shown how to open the door. Breakfast was what I requested and on time. I had stayed before and we caught up on what had happened since last I stayed. I was happy to see Molly, her 20 year old dog was still walking and friendly.

Such a lovely B&B - the room was beautiful, everything was spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds, and Phil the owner was absolutely amazing. Thank you for helping us arrange transport into Bunclody from Clonegal, and for the delicious breakfast! If we are ever in Bunclody again we'll definitely come back here. A very memorable stay!
