Stayed there last night. It was one of the best places I was ever in. The hosts were lovely, the cottage is spotless, cosy and warm. The decor is very tasteful. Breakfast was delicious. Lovely country property with horses roaming . We liked the self service kitchen that had everything. We went to town to get some food at the grocer and cooked dinner as we have been eating out all week.

We loved having a promenade right outside our door along the Irish Sea. We chose it as a place away from Dublin where we could recover from jet lag. It didn’t disappoint. We liked the laid back atmosphere of Wicklow and enjoyed walking and resting before starting our driving tour of the country.

Bernie was a wonderful, welcoming host, leaving us fresh fruit salad and pastries in the morning for breakfast, as well as a selection of cereals and yogurts in the apartment. The apartment itself was very comfortable to be in, with a great energy, and all the amenities we could wish for. We liked it so much there that we actually booked an extra night, highly recommend!
