We liked everything, starting from very kind and nice owners who welcome us. The facilities was very nice, comfortable, clean. You can find there everything what you need, and even more. The location is very good, as the town is not big.

It was a great little guest house, very cozy and well out into the country. The shared spaces were comfortable and it was nice to be away from the city for a night. Akranes is one of our favorite day trips from Reykjavík and there is lots to enjoy in that small town, this is a lovely place with great beaches, an amazing light house (singing or playing an instrument in the lighthouse is amazing! be sure to try it even if you don't sing well!) This was a very cozy stop.

Great localisation. Poor wi-fi, but other than that it's great - spacious, with free parking spot and short walk to the city center and even shorter to the port:) Do not hesitate, it's a great place to stay. Comfortable beds!

My recent stay at Vesturgata 14 in Reykjavík was truly exceptional and exceeded all expectations. Situated in a peaceful and charming neighborhood, the location offers the perfect balance between tranquility and accessibility. Just a short walk away, I found myself in the vibrant heart of Reykjavík, surrounded by cozy cafés, excellent restaurants, cultural landmarks, and scenic waterfront paths. Despite its proximity to the city center, the area remained quiet and calm, ensuring restful nights and a relaxed atmosphere throughout the stay. The apartment itself was cosy. Spacious and tastefully decorated in a modern Scandinavian style, it offered everything one might need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the bed was comfortable. Equally impressive was the interaction with the host. Communication was smooth, timely, and welcoming. From clear pre-arrival instructions to helpful local recommendations, the host ensured that every aspect of the visit was easy and enriching. It was evident that great care was taken not only in managing the property but also in making guests feel at home. The host also provided an insightful guide to local attractions. In terms of value, Vesturgata 14 met expectations.

Great place to stay, very well located, the house had everything that we needed, in the room there was basic stuff like coffee, tea, water and what we needed to make them, so it was really great, and also a sink for the basic, the kitchen was very well organize and we were able to cook some basic food for our daily trips. Toilets always clean, room clean. The bed was super comfy, we really enjoyed our stay, everything went super smoothly.

This contemporary design hotel is set in Reykjavík's Old Harbour area, 500 metres from Harpa Concert Hall & Conference Centre.

This hotel is modern, has a super location, great bakery, fab restaurant/bar, well planned rooms but what must be mentioned is the amazing staff at reception. They were 5 star from the minute we arrived to the minute we left.
