Everything! Location, staff, food - dinner and breakfast, cleaninness! The view of the room was super nice! Breakfast was really nice, with good options on the buffet but also the chef cooking fresh eggs and omelette!

The property was easy to find, and is very well located for day trips around Egilsstaðir. The house was clean, cozy and nicely decorated. There was a washing machine as well, which was very handy. The beds were comfortable. The area was very quiet, a bit outside of Egilsstaðir, but very quick to drive there. From the open area where the cottages are, there is a short path to a jacuzzi (which was spotless) and there is also a sauna. We had a very enjoyable stay.

The location just outside of town was nice and convenient to everything. The host was also very accommodating in allowing me to book an additional night in the same room when an early winter storm came through and all the roads closed. The room itself was spacious, very clean and comfortable and I liked having a private bathroom. Having stayed in multiple hostels/guesthouses, I can't emphasize enough the convenience of having a private bathroom. Worth paying extra for.
