An amazing property located in Gardur on the Reyksjanes peninsula. We booked this place to be somewhere a bit quieter but still not too far from Reykjavik, and it fit the brief perfectly. Only around 10-15 mins drive from Keflavík airport and 1 hour from Reykjavik. Do keep in mind that there’s not really any reasonable public transportation links to the city, so you’d really want to have a car. The area is really beautiful and super peaceful. It’s just a stone’s throw from a lovely path along the shoreline of Flaxaflói bay. There aren’t really amenities in town, but there are plenty in Reyksjanesbær / Keflavík, about 15 mins drive away, as well as a couple of really great restaurants a few minutes away at the lighthouse. The house was clean, modern and very comfortable. Especially loved the shower and bath - having bath salts was a really nice touch! We didn’t personally meet Lukasz, but he was super friendly and responsive and kept us thoroughly informed. We arrived really early in the morning and without much sleep, and because the house was already available, he got it ready for us overnight so we could check-in right away. Absolutely A+ gesture. A really unforgettable stay that I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend.

The apartments are very tidy and clean. There you can find everything that is needed for yor stay and even more. We felt ourselves at home. The hostess is very frendly and ready to help with all the questions. I wish we could stay longer in the house and take hot tub outside every evening. It was unforgettable experience especially when it was snowing. I highly recommend these apartments to everyone who travels to Iceland. Although they are near from the airport the airplanes do no bother at all.

don’t hesitate to book this place! the hosts were incredible and very friendly, the acclamation was so clean and had interesting designs inside. the hosts were very communicative and gave great recommendations for our trip. this is the perfect spot to stay to explore the area and go to the blue lagoon. I recommend spending a night or two here before you leave Iceland (very close to the airport). the hot spring rock pool isn’t he backyard was amazing as well! highly recommend this wonderful place :)

    Very clean, big rooms. Cozy and comfortable. Quiet house (could not hear any neighbour) It’s the perfect place to stay the first or last night. They have a great breakfast and restaurant but also make a Picknick to go for early flights. Staff is super helpful and friendly and the location is so quiet and nice , directly on the ocean.

    It was good location with peaceful and beautiful scenery. The bed condition is best and delicious breakfast.The room is very clean. Please look around light house and backside of church. You can see beautiful swans and seagulls on the sea.The music through radio was also very nice. And all steffs are kind And I could see northern lights in midnight at back side of hotel. I can say the best hotel in my life as I want to live in Iceland.

    Wow. This was our favourite stay in Iceland. We booked it for our last night as it was close to the airport. It's location is fantastic, right on the edge of Gardur, close to the lighthouse. The staff were friendly, helpful and just wonderful. The rooms were really clean and very comfortable. And the restaurant, well the food was amazing. The ambience of this hotel was just perfect. It was the cheapest of the venues we stayed at but definitely the best. And we got to see the Northern Lights here.
