Cignella is simply beautiful. The perfect place to relax and unwind. The scenery is incredible. The staff really friendly and welcoming. We were given an upgrade on arrival which was wonderful. Our accommodation was lovely.

The stay at this place was incredible. We booked this accommodation for only one night, but immediately after checking in, we were delighted with this atmosphere in the 13th century castle and extended our stay for another night. Very beautiful area and incredible views. The room had everything you need for a comfortable stay. We really recommend everyone to stay here

Excellent place, and a great base for going to towns like Pienza and Montepulciano. Beautiful view from the room, which was equipped with everything you might need during the stay. Bed was super comfortable. And not the least, the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks!

We loved everything about Poggio Paradiso! It was clear the entire staff wanted to do everything they could to make our stay perfect. Luigi was a huge help before we arrived, arranging bikes and dinner reservations for us. He even ran to the bike store immediately to exchange my bike for an electric one when we realized how hilly the area is. The food was fantastic (dinner and breakfast). The location is beautiful and convenient for getting to all the nearby cities. The room and bed were huge and well decorated. You don’t need to leave the property if you don’t want to. We enjoyed sitting by the pool in the afternoon and out on the terrace in the early evening. A+ property!!

Amazing stay in the country side. Felt just like home. The host is a very sweet Italian lady. Rooms were perfect and the stay was best place to spend your night in middle of Tuscany hills. She also cooks great food for you which was so homely! Worth all the money!

    A beautiful family run property with only 5 rooms on site. Quiet, homely, very spacious and amazing attention to detail. Beautiful home cooked meals too with delicious drinks by the pool at very affordable prices. Couldn't recommend this place more - one of the best stays we've had!!!

    Great place to stay in Tuscany. The family-owned villa welcomed us with warmth and kindness. The room was very spacious and beautiful. Very clean. Breakfast provided a variety of options that will meet almost any expectations. The infinity pool looks gorgeous with outstanding surrounding views. All the details were thoughtfully considered so nothing can interfere with your stay at the villa. Late dinner carefully prepared out of fresh local ingredients left us with an unforgettable impression. Special thanks to Domenico and his mother!

    Beautiful location. Quiet. Friendly stuff. Very delicious breakfast. Lots of space in the apartment and on site. We travelled together with another family. It was perfect for our kids although we weren’t super lucky with the weather.

    Beautiful place to stay - we like everything - the amazing owner Domenico, the property, the service,…. The location is ideal for relaxing and as a start point to visit nearby well known cities - Montepulciano, Pienza,.. The house is beautiful renovated - is modern and traditional at the same time. Domenico tried to make our holidays the best and to feel very welcomed and he succeeded.

    Brilliant location at the top of one of the many Tuscan peaks, overlooking the surrounding Tuscan valleys on all sides of the property. Enormous room sizes, very clean and well presented, bedroom, Lounge/Kitchen, two bathrooms was incredible. An excellent refurb and fusion of an original Tuscan period property with modern fixtures and fittings, excellent WiFi.
