This hotel has been one of the best we’ve stayed at in Kyoto. Not only is the location great, but the staff also go out their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Everything was literally perfect!!!! We stayed at the hotel for only 2 nights and had so much fun. The location is ideal, close to everything and our room was amazing. the staff was lovely and welcoming, they helped us with everything we needed. Plus there’s a free buffet in the lobby for all hotel guests which was great.

The staff was really kind and always available if you had any questions, they gave us good recommendations and good advice for how to get to arashiyama in the fastest way possible (better than google maps). The room was lovely, well equipped and spacious.

The breakfast options were really good! The staff were also very accommodating in terms of checking in and out and it was a very smooth process. The rooms are fairly spacious and the interiors are fun and clean. The location is also walking distance to a train station.

Loved the amazing friendly and helpful  staff, who gave us good advice and discussions. Great location in central Gion in a quiet street but walking distance to almost anything.  Great variety and range of eating places and the river close by and of course as many temples as you need with cool peaceful gardens as well as museums. Nishiki Market is a short bus ride or interesting 20min walk.  The room was beautiful and fully equipped incl a small kitchenette, electric blackout curtains and lots of tech Breakfasts were copious and varied to suit most tastes, best scrambled egss in Japan. Amazingly bestiful designer chairs in a little sitting area and free laundry room was an unexpected bonus!

The staff were very friendly and the location was great - only about a 15 minute walk from Kyoto Station. For the price paid, this place is a great deal.
