Our tatami room was spacious and thoughtfully prepared, with futons laid out and men’s yukata already provided. The location is convenient, close to the bus station and within walking distance of the Misasa area. The onsen, featuring both indoor and outdoor baths, was lovely. They also offer a variety of yukata to use during your stay, along with geta in different sizes if you’d like to stroll around in traditional attire. For the price we paid, this place was an incredible value compared to other ryokan nearby.

Beautiful and tranquil house located opposite supermarket just across the street and not far from osen, and restaurants. In the morning we even ran about 5 km to big ponds nearby. Owner is nice and helpful.

I liked everything about this hotel. It’s so close to the station, the amenities were plenty and of good quality, the breakfast was amazing and filling, the hotel was extremely clean and modern, the public bath was very clean too and I enjoyed it very much. The most important part was also the perfect staffs, their politeness and friendliness was outstanding. I have visited 22 prefectures in Japan so far but I have met the kindest people in Tottori prefecture and also the best customer service. I will come back to Kurayoshi again and will stay at the same hotel. Thank you.

Staying in Tami and Yurihama was likely the number one highlight of my month in Japan. The accomodations are very comfortable, the staff are warm and welcoming, and the hostel serves as a cafe/pub where you can socialize (even as a foreigner!) with the locals. I hope to return one day.

The place is a beautiful kept traditional Japanese wooden house. I loved the house and the location but the best part of the experience were the host family. I felt like I was visiting my family, I got to experience very traditional meals and great company. I hope to visit again!
